Administrative Support: May 2000-June 2002
Provided office support to CIO and other staff members as required.
Researched the Internet for health related conferences and events for submission to the Canadian Health Network website calendar; tracked local events and conferences in Atlantic Canada for promotional opportunities.
Performed website maintenance, posted articles and published bi-weekly newsletter to the ECHO website.
Ordered office supplies and promotional materials, maintained inventory control of promotional supplies in database and prepared promotional packages for mailing or conferences when required; prepared invoices; controlled petty cash spreadsheet; maintained manual and electronic filing system; and participated in conference calls by taking minutes. Administrative Support/Receptionist - Summer 1999 - Summer Employment
Provided office support to Executive Director and other staff members.
Greeted clients visiting the resource centre, referred clients to staff members as required and provided information on programs offered by the centre in person or by phone.
Assisted Executive Director with report preparation for funding and proof read policy documents to affect change in wording to a more positive translation.
Typing letters, memos and flip chart information, as well as maintaining electronic filing system. Performing data entry for mailing lists.

Administrative Support, Student Services: April 1998-Sept 1998
Worked directly with the Employment Placement Officer and Counsellor. This position required contact with employers, students, staff, and graduates.
Contacted employers and students to determine status of employment opportunities.
Prepared job postings using Windows 3.1, Windows 95, WordPerfect 7 and posted them to the Holland College website, as well as doing follow-up calls to see if these positions were filled.
Answered telephone, booked appointments, filing, ordered supplies, sent faxes and E-mail, photocopied, and performed data base entry.

Royal Bank of Canada, Main Branch, Charlottetown, PE
Administrative Support, Loans Department: (1975-1996)
This position involved working strictly in the loans department and assisting account managers with a variety of administrative functions.
Processed student, personal, farmplan, and small business loan applications from lending officers and input loan information into computer system; performed credit checks and follow-up on delinquent loan reports by sending out past-due notices or making phone calls to clients. Assisted with various other reports such as daily activity report, new loans report, highs and lows report, etc.
Performed general administrative duties including filing, distributed mail, answered phone calls related to loan inquiries; updated client profiles on computer system and provided customer service related to loan inquiries.
Acted as custodian for documents and notes; performed lock-up duties.
